Nature Preserves at Sterling Oaks

Nature Preserves at Sterling Oaks

Enjoy our serenity backyard with a view of ecological wonder

Our nature preserves encompass over 200 acres that surround the communities from the north-south or east-west of Florida. The wetlands provide a home to many native birds and animal species. Deer, otters, and bobcats are a few of the mammals that inhabit the preserves. You can also see hawks, eagles, herons, and egrets along with other species of birds in these vast tracts of unspoiled wilderness.

Natural Beauty in Your Backyard

A boardwalk in the northeast corner of the Preserve Neighborhood allows viewing of this ecological wonder.

I love walking around our spectacular preserves and viewing spoonbills, herons, egrets, limpkins and wood storks.  The otter are so much fun!  The turtles, armadillos and possums are interesting, too.  Our board walk out into the east preserve is a gem.- Lani Wheeler
